Hello! I’m Hunter - some know me as Van or Vinny.
I have been working in design since 2013. My career began as favors for friends and classmates, but over time has evolved to encompass a myriad industries; city managers’ offices, car shows, barbershops, and everything in between.
Another more recent passion of mine is tattooing. I began as an apprentice at Ink Expression in March of 2023, and first put my needle to skin three months later in June. I enjoy working in a variety of styles, with a specialization in engraving and American traditional - specifically with spooky and/or medieval fantasy subjects.
Working with Photoshop and Illustrator are second nature, and I’m as well-versed with a tattoo needle as I am with pencil and paper. No matter the tools needed for a project, I have the skills to use them - take a look at my pages below to see for yourself.
Outside of my work as an artist I enjoy writing, making music, gardening, and working out. If you ever need to know what to grow with your peppers or how to better target your triceps, I’m your guy!
